| UPDATE: Due to heavy lightning in the area, students at Intermediate and Junior highs (as well as early release high school students) are being kept inside unless a parent comes in to get them. As soon as the lightning subsides we will allow students to board buses or walk home. Expect some bus delays as we work to keep everyone safe.
Wylie ISD, along with emergency management officials, are monitoring the weather. We understand that parents are anxious. Often weather events happen fast and situations can vary from campus to campus. We will do our best to keep you informed in a timely manner, especially as it pertains changes in dismissal times, transportation issues, afterschool events and any other changes to your child’s instructional day.
